It is not easy to find the way to fit through the narrow door. Adapt and change and become like Jesus. Allow God to change you.
These are scheduled for Week 8 for Stage 2 and Week 9 for all other classes. Check out Compass and book a time to meet with your teacher/s. If a phone call is easier, you can still book a time, let the office know your preference, and we can phone you at that time instead of meeting in person. The time allowed for these chats is only brief (10 minute time slots) and if there is anything that requires more time this can be organised at a later date.
This Friday we farewell Miss Erin who will have completed her final 8-week practicum in Stage 1. It has been a pleasure having Miss Erin with us and we wish her all the best in her future career.
NAPCAN Child Protection Week starts on the 7th of September

Stage 3 have had a fantastic few weeks filled with exciting learning and upcoming events to look forward to!
In class, students have been thoroughly enjoying the book Leila and the Blue Fox. This powerful story has sparked some rich discussions and inspired students as they follow the incredible journey of an Arctic fox across the Arctic Circle. Through the book, students have deepened their understanding of the Arctic region and the challenges faced by wildlife in extreme environments. The tale of the fox’s 2,500-mile trek has captured everyone’s imagination and tied beautifully into our broader learning about geography, climate, and animal adaptation.
Looking ahead, there’s a real buzz of anticipation around the upcoming Zone Soccer Tournament in Yamba next week. Stage 3 is brimming with talented players, and it will be exciting to see them showcase their skills on the field. We wish our team the best of luck and know they’ll represent our school with pride, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Join the Fun at Macro Muster 9!
Students, families and community members are invited to take part in Macro Muster 9 – Australia’s biggest citizen science waterbug count monitoring the health of our rivers. This unique, hands-on event gives participants the chance to become “river detectives” by identifying waterbugs (macroinvertebrates) that live in local waterways. The types and numbers of these tiny creatures tell us a lot about water quality and river health, making your involvement an important contribution to protecting our environment.
Friday 24 October, 4:00–7:30pm
Bellingen Showground, Luncheon Pavilion
No science experience is needed – training and support are provided on the day. The event also includes a family-friendly community dinner, making it a great evening of learning, fun, and connection.

Coffs Harbour Basketball - call out for new players to start in Term 4
We currently have an offer where all new players are eligible for a free $100 towards their fees through the Dream Hoops program.
We are looking for new players and teams across all junior boys and junior girls age divisions.
Our age groups for the next competition are:
U9 is 2017 to 2020
U11 is 2015-2016
U13 is 2013-2014
U15 is 2011-2012
U17 is 2009-2010
Under 9’s (male and female) and all junior girls divisions play on a Wednesday afternoon.
U11 to U17 male divisions play on a Friday afternoon.
We are especially looking for players in the U9’s divisions! If they apply for the $100 Dream Hoops voucher, an u8 player would only need to pay the difference of $30 for the term to play.
If anyone has any questions or would like to join, they can email us at admin@coffsharbourbasketball.com.au and we can connect them into a team.
